70`s Nude Glasses

From my sister, found on a Flea Market!
They all have transparent clothes on, a raincoat and a medical scrub with a stethoscope...
Raincoat and Medial Scrub are my absolutely favourites♥
I am looking for similar glasses for my collection.
Do you still remember those hologram lighters with nude women?
They are also pretty cool!
Wish I would find some, too.

A Trip to Nuremberg

In 1948 Nuremberg's Christkindles Market was reopened for the first time after the Second World War.
for this opening there was a ceremony that still remains to this days, an actress dressed up as the Christkind reopened the market.
From 1969 the Christkind will be choosen from amongst the youth of Nuremberg every two years.
The young women are between 16 and 19 years old and at least 160cm tall.
They don't have to look like models but rather have a natural appearance and an attractive voice.
They should be comfortable with children and elderly, not be afraid of heights, be prepared to appear in all weather conditions and live in Nuremberg.

All candidates for the role of the angelic messenger have to participate in a six-week selection process.
Twelve girls will be selected and then presented to the townsmen of Nuremberg in local newspapers.
The six girls who receive the most votes are give the chance to demonstrate their linguistic and social skills in front of a judge.

The elected Christkind must fulfil numerous duties. She travels through Nuremberg and the surrounding region to give out presents, welcomes delegations, read Christmas stories and opens the Christkindles Market with a prolouge. Visits charity events, visits old people's homes and kindergartens

During this time the Christkind must attend more than 140 appointments so she is exempted from school for this period.
She also may not be misused for marketing and advertising purposes. Visits to department stores are not allowed!

The red postcards with the photograph of the Christkind will be distributed on the Christmas markets for free, you can not buy them anywhere.
I am pretty happy that I got one when I saw her on the Christkindles Market and also managed to make a photo of her. She is so sweet!

Here is the link to Nuremberg's homepage where you can find photos of all previous Christkinds !also english language!
And if you like to read more about the Christkindles Market and it's traditions I can recommend you the book "Chritskindlesmarkt zu Nürnberg" by Regine Franzke, written in german and english. And a book about tinsel angels and their history, "Himmlische Boten".

Enjoy the photos and a Merry Christmas to all of you
