Salamander Shoes is one of the famous shoe manufactor in Germany. It was founded in 1885 and it's brand logo is a green salamander.
In 1937 as promotion for childern, the first Lurchi comic books were published. And they are still very popular.
I remember my childhood going with my mother or father to Slamander just to get those great illustrated magazines.
Here are some short stories from Lurchi and his friends.
Hm, that reminds me also at the Palomino Hores fashion by C&A ( on very clothing with the Palomino label was a little plastic horse figure attached )
Guess I will make another post about Palomino.
